In this training session, the topic of I lazardous wastes and Universal wastes was <br />discussed. <br />2. This training exercise went over the definition of hazardous material and hazardous <br />waste. It covered the different points ofentry that a person could be exposed to. It <br />included a brief discussion on identifying hazardous materials. <br />3. The course covered how to read MSDS Sheets as well as their location in the facility. <br />4. The course also stressed the importance of labeling chemicals being used in the <br />workplace. Proper storage of hazardous and universal wastes. Proper and improper <br />disposal of hazardous wastes and waste cleanup. <br />5. The location of applicable equipment for spill responders. <br />b. Proper storage of hazardous and universal wastes. <br />Purpose of the training is to ensure all employees have adequate knowledge about <br />chemicals, chemical reactivity, proper use and disposal of chemicals and their <br />byproducts. To be compliant with all regulations regarding environment and to maintain <br />a safe work environment. <br />
