�7 <br />B & C Painting Solutions <br />Training Summary <br />July 16, 2004 <br />Topic: Hazard Communication <br />Trainer: Tom Gaines <br />Translator: Jesus Lopez <br />Course Length: 30 minutes <br />In this training session, the topic of Hazard Communication is discussed. The roles of <br />both the Waste Stream Monitor (Nelson Arreleano) and the Environmental Safety <br />Manager (Tom Gaines) are explained to the employees. <br />This training exercise went over the definition of hazardous material and hazardous <br />waste. It covered the different points of entry that a person could be exposed to. It <br />included a brief discussion on identifying hazardous materials. <br />The course covered how to read MEDS Sheets as well as their location in the facility. <br />The course also stressed the importance of labeling chemicals being used in the <br />workplace. <br />This course went over the different types of hazard signs that employees would see <br />throughout the facility and how to identify each one. <br />The course discussed who to contact in case of an emergency. <br />
