Hwy 99 <br /> Stnr-ktnn� CA 95212 <br /> This plan is designed to meet the monitoring and response requirements of Section 2632, Article 3 and <br /> Section 2643 (d)(1)and (3), Article 4,Title 23, CCR. <br /> 1. MONITORING EQUIPMENT <br /> Secondarily contained storage tanks are monitored by a continuous electronic leak detection <br /> system which consists of an alarm panel, sensors and associated electronics. Liquid sensors are installed <br /> in the annular space of each double wall tank. Whenever a sensor detects the presence of a liquid there is <br /> both a visual and audible alarm at the control panel. <br /> Automatic line leak detectors are installed on the single wall pressurized product piping. The line <br /> leak detector will detect a loss of pressure in the product lines and restrict the flow of product. <br /> An annual tightness test will be performed on the product lines. <br /> 2. MAEMNANCE SCHEDULE OF MONITORING EQUIPMENT <br /> The continuous electronic leak detection system including line leak detectors will be inspected <br /> according to the manufacturer's instructions by an outside contractor once during each calendar year. <br /> 3. ROUTINE MONITORING PROCEDURE <br /> On a daily basis the facility operator shall: <br /> A Inspect the control panel for visual and audible alarm signals to confirm that the unit is <br /> operati ng. <br /> B. Inspect island and tank fill areas for signs of spillage or petroleum sheen. <br /> C. Record the inspection observations on the Daily Visual Monitoring Log(Form APPC-765: <br /> attached.) <br />
