In that inspection form,
several violations were noted along with a notice to comply or that you were to obtain
approval from the City of Stockton Fire Department. After numerous visits to your
business located at the above address, the following was determined:
Outside Tire Storage Area
• Tire storage in the outside open area is to be maintained at a height no greater
than ten feet. Tires shall not be stored within ten feet of a building, property line,
or other combustible materials such as trees. These allowances are based upon
current site conditions including buildings that are of non-combustible tilt-up
concrete construction and adjacent lots that are vacant with active vegetation
management practices in place. Any changes to the above conditions will require
reassessment of the storage allowances.
• Minimum equipment required on site shall include:
o (1) 2 Y2 gallon water extinguisher or hose
o (1) 10 foot long pike pole
o (1) rigid rake
o (1) round point shovel
o (1) square point shovel
Stockton
&America City
1999
