Almondwood Dr. for the purpose of <br /> conducting an on-site periodic hazardous waste handling inspection. <br /> During your inspection, you noted several violations that you informed us were in need of <br /> correction. <br /> You further informed us that all corrections would need to be completed within thirty days A <br /> date of July 30, 2010 was designated as the final due date that you would expect a written <br /> status report to be postmarked and mailed to you at your Stockton office. <br /> As a result, I have prepared the following attachments detailing our efforts in addressing each of <br /> the violations you noted during your inspection. <br /> I am pleased to report that all violations have been addressed and brought into compliance. <br /> Photographs are submitted to assist in your review. <br /> Violation Response/Action Attachments: <br /> 1. Category: Operations <br /> #7 CCR66262.11 failed to determine if a waste was a hazardous waste. <br /> Response: <br /> Tuff Boy Sales, Inc. is a trailer manufacturer During manufacturing, Tuff Boy staff saw cuts <br /> ferrous carbon steel on a marvel band saw. Metal shavings are produced. In the past, <br /> shavings were considered ferrous non-hazardous recyclable material-, and, the shavings were <br /> sold to a metal recycler. <br /> Action Taken: <br /> A sample of shavings was taken and submitted to Shop Hazards Solutions, who then forwarded <br /> the sample to Castle Analytical Laboratory for a CAM 17 test a ;alysis. <br /> Results of the test have been received indicating that the sample nas been determined to be <br /> non-hazardous.
