Collection. <br /> Waste tires are considered in the "collection" process when they are temporarily placed in fully enclosed, licensed <br /> road transportable containers that are not stored at a permitted waste tire facility or a facility identified in Section <br /> 18420(x). The requirements of Article 5.5 of this Chapter and Chapter 6, with the exception of Article 8.5, Chapter <br /> 6, shall not apply to "collection" as long as the following conditions are met: <br /> (1) Containers shall be kept closed except while loading and unloading. <br /> (2) Containers shall be kept locked when not being loaded or unloaded unless unauthorized access <br /> is controlled pursuant to section 17352 of this Article. <br /> (3)All waste tire deliveries shall be manifested in accordance with Article 8.5 of this Chapter. <br /> (4) For the purpose of this section "temporarily" shall mean less than 90 days. <br /> Note: <br /> Authority cited. <br /> Sections 40502, 42820, 42830, and 43020, Public Resources Code. <br /> Reference: <br /> Sections 42800, 42820, 42830, and 43020, Public_Resources Code.. <br /> 12/6/2007 <br />
