Tesoro has sold the station to <br /> USA Petroleum. The assessment will include penetration borings and possibly groundwater monitoring <br /> wells to detect petroleum hydrocarbons in soil or groundwatt r near the fuel tanks and dispensers. <br /> Site Description <br /> The site is located on the southeast corner of Lower Sacramento Road, and West Kettleman Lane(Figure in <br /> Enclosure A). The service station,is currently in operation and is a retail gasoline station. Depth to <br /> groundwater measured at an adjacent site ranges from approximately 50 to 55 feet below surface grade <br /> (bsg). Groundwater flow direction generally ranges from southwest to southeast. <br /> Proposed Scope of Work <br /> The scope of work being proposed is to evaluate the extent of residual petroleum hydrocarbons, if any, in <br /> the soil and groundwater in the vicinity of the former USI's and former fuel dispensers.
