(Delta) has been authorized by Tesoro Petroleum Company
(Tesoro)to perform quarterly groundwater monitoring at tie site located at 2448 Kettleman_ Road, Lodi,
California(Figure 1). -
The locations of former and current site features are illustrated on Figure 1. Quarterly groundwater
monitoring is intended to evaluate the distribution of petroleum hydrocarbon constituents in groundwater
beneath the site. This report summarizes results of the samples collected from the site during the third
quarter of 2005. Well construction details for the three c rrent groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1,
MW-2 and MW-3) are included in Table 1. The work was performed in accordance with the field
methods and procedures included in Enclosure A.
Groundwater Level'Measurements
Depth to groundwater was measured in monitoring wells W-1, MW72, and MW-3. The measurements
taken on July 13, 2005, were used to construct a water table elevation contour map included as Figure 3.
Depth measurements were obtained using an electronic water-level indicator and recorded to the nearest.
0.01-foot: :The water-level indicator was cleaned with a solution of non-phosphate detergent.and de-
ionized water, and rinsed before each use. Groundwater elevation data.are presented in-.Table`l and:
inferred .groundwater elevation contours.are presented on igure D.='Depth to groundwater ranged from
47.56 to 49.66 feet below the top of the well casing. Ba sed on groundwater elevation data computed
from depth to water measurements in wells, the groundwa lerflow direction across the site was inferred
to be to the northwest with an approximate.gradient of .03. A site rnap.showing groundwater flow
direction is included as'F'igure 3.
.: A member of.. - -
Inogeif
