Thompson Kayo. 0il Company' 900 South Cherokee Lane Lodi , CA 95240 i RE: Fast Gas Station 800 East Highway 12 Lodi , CA I Dear Mr. Thompson : The following is a report of the environmental activities conducted by Fox Environmental Services , Inc. for the period of December 3, 1986 to January 30, 1987 at the Fast Gas Station located at 800 East Highway 12 in Lodi , CA. No groundwater measurements were conducted by Fox Environmental Services during the month of December, ' but it should be noted that the system was turned off between January 4, 1 1987 and January 17, 1987 due to rain fall causing the holding pond to fill with surface runoff. The system was re- started on. January 17, 1987 and has been in operation since that time. .i Groundwater monitoring was conducted on January 30, 1987, and those re- sults are attached. Groundwater at this location is continuing to rise, and during this reporting period , has risen an average of 1 .76 feet. During the monitoring of the groundwater levels , no phased hydrocarbons were observed or detected. ? On January 17, 1987, a spherical shaped PVC type packing was added to the air stripping tower at the midpoint We are awaiting the new round of analytical results to assess the effectiveness of this packing. For the period of December 3,' 1986 to January 30, 1987, 112,420 cubic feet (843, 150) gallons of water has been processed through the system. The new meter reading for January'.k30, 1987 is 166, 190. During -the week of February 9., 1987 the spray tower and water feed tank will be pawi.nted, as the paint', has peeled badly on these two items . Routine groundwater 'monitoring will again be conducted during the month of February 1987.
