Take a water sample by filling a clean 50-mL graduated cylinder to the 30-mL mark.Pour the sample into <br /> a clean mixing bottle.See Note A. <br /> 2. Add the contents of one NitraVera'6 Nitrate Reagent Powder Pillow to the sample,Immediately stopper <br /> and shake for exactly tltrre minutes.See Note B.Allow the sample to stand undisturbed for 30 seconds. <br /> See Note C. <br /> 3. Carefully pour the prepared sample into a clean sample cell,taking can;not to transfer cadmium particles <br /> with the sample.Fill to the 25 mark. <br /> 4. Fill another sample cell to the 25 mark with original water sample and place it into the cell holder.Close <br /> the light shield.Insert the Nitrogen,Nitrate(NitraVer 6 Method)Meter Scale(Cat.No.41788)into the <br /> meter and adjust the Wavelength Dial to 500 nm, <br /> 6. Set the Mode Switch to LEFT SET and check the left set adjustment.If necessary,adjust the LEFT SET <br /> control to align the meter needle with the extreme left mark on the meter scale arc. <br /> 7, Set the Mode Switch to NORM and adjust the RIGHT SET controls for a meter reading of zero mg/L. <br /> S.
