A hand-held organic vapor analyzer(OVA)was <br /> used by our technician to measure influent hydrocarbon concentrations. I <br /> 1 <br /> F <br /> During the weekly visit on September 28,1990 the vacuum extraction system was found shutdown, Tlie <br /> system was restarted. For calculation purposes,it is assumed that the system was down for seven days. <br /> Based on operating parameters listed on Table A.approximately 790 pounds(128 gallons)of gasoline ' <br /> have been extracted during the reporting period. The remediation system has been operating on the <br /> i on-site vacuum wells since December 1989,and off-site vacuum wells since May 16, 1990. Since then, <br /> r' approximately 8,423 pounds.(1,367 gallons) of gasoline have been extracted and properly treated. <br /> b'I Attached are two figures which show gasoline extracted per month(Figure 1)and cumulative gasoline <br /> k n; extracted(Figure 2).
