(Delta) has been authorized by Tesoro Petroleum Company
(Tesoro)to perform quarterly groundwater monitoring at the site located at 2448 Kettleman Road, Lodi,
California(Figure 1).
The locations of former and current site features are illustrated on Figure 2. Quarterly groundwater
monitoring is intended to evaluate the distribution of petroleum hydrocarbon constituents in groundwater
beneath the site. This report summarizes results of the samples collected from the site during the third
quarter of 2004. The work was performed in accordance with the field methods and procedures included
in Enclosure A.
Groundwater Level Measurements
Depth to groundwater was measured in monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2,and MW-3. The measurements
taken on July 16, 2004, were used to construct a water table elevation contour map included as Figure 3.
Depth measurements were obtained using an electronic water-level indicator and recorded to the nearest
0.01-foot. The water-level indicator was cleaned with a solution of non-phosphate detergent and de-
ionized water, and rinsed before each use. Field data sheets are presented in Enclosure B. Groundwater
elevation data are presented in Table 1 and inferred groundwater elevation contours are presented on
Figure 2. Depth to groundwater ranged from 49.69 to 50.73 feet below the top of the well casing. Based
on groundwater elevation data computed from depth to water measurements in wells, the groundwater
flow direction across the site was inferred to be south at an approximate gradient of 0.003.
Xinogeft-
EW-,,immiAl At Ua%e
I
r
