Delta Suite 100 <br /> Rancho Cordova CA 95670 <br /> Environmental 9161638 2085 <br /> Consultants,Inc FAX 916/638 8385 <br /> July 27, 1992 <br /> Mr Kenneth Earnest <br /> Ultramar Inc AUG 0 3 1992 <br /> 525 West Third Street <br /> Hanford, California 93230 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Subject Quarterly Monitoring Letter Report, Second Quarter 1992 <br /> Beacon Station No 696 <br /> 2448 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California <br /> Delta Project No 40-90-839 <br /> Dear Mr Earnest <br /> Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), has been authorized by Ultramar Inc (Ultramar) to <br /> conduct quarterly ground water monitoring at Beacon Station No 696 located at <br /> 2448 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California The Iocation of the site is shown in Figure 1 This <br /> letter report contains results of the most recent quarterly ground water monitoring performed at the <br /> site Ground water table levels were measured and ground water samples were collected for analysis <br /> on June 18, 1992 Work conducted at the site by Delta was performed in accordance with the field <br /> methods and procedures described in Enclosure A <br /> Ground Water Levels, Flow Direction, and Hydraulic Gradient <br /> A total of 23 monitoring wells are present at and adjacent to the site as shown in Figure 2 <br /> Monitoring wells MW-20, MW-34, MW-35, and MW-36 contained measurable ground water on <br /> June 18, 1992 Ground water was not present in other monitoring wells at the site The depth to <br /> ground water was approximately 53 to 54 5 feet below the top of the well casings Ground water <br /> table levels in the monitoring wells have decreased approximately 3 5 feet since the previous <br /> monitoring event in March 1992 A water table contour map constructed from the ground water table <br /> levels measured on June 18, 1992, is shown in Figure 3 The inferred direction of ground water flow <br /> across the site was toward the southwest and the hydraulic gradient was approximately 0 0005 <br /> Previous ground water level data have indicated that the direction of ground water flow was toward <br /> the south or south-southwest, and the average hydraulic gradient was approximately 0 025 <br /> A summary of the ground water table levels recorded at the site since February 1991 are included <br /> in Table 1 <br /> Sul?jective Analysis <br /> No evidence of tree-phase petroleum product or sheen was detected in monitoring wells at the site <br /> during the June 1992 site visit <br /> Delta Delvers Solutions <br />
