Dembroff
Manager, Marketing Environmental
SUBJECT: Quarterly Ground-Water Sampling Report
Third Quarter 1990
Ultramar Station 696
800 East Highway 12
Lodi, California
Dear Mr. Dembroff:
INTRODUCTION
This report presents the results of the quarterly ground-water sampling which was conducted at the
Ultramar Station 696 located at 800 East Highway 12, Lodi, California (see the Location Map,
Figure 1), on October 4, 1990. The purpose of this sampling program is to monitor and evaluate the
extent of hydrocarbon contamination in the ground water at the subject property.
SUMMARY
A summary of data regarding ground-water levels for the third 1990 quarter is presented in Table A.
The ground-water level has dropped 3.09 feet in MW-20 since the last quarterly sampling. All other
monitor wells were dry, therefore, a ground-water gradient could not be established (see the Ground-
Water Elevation Map, Figure 2). Chemical analytical results indicate concentrations of total petroleum
hydrocarbons have decreased in MW-20 since last quarter (see Table..B•and Appendix A). Figure 3
presents the benzene concentration of MW-20 within the ground water for the site. This site is
scheduled for fourth quarter sampling during December 1990.
Have a safe day,
DU PONT ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION SERVICES
I
 I
James A.
