All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #4 Employee Eating, Tasting, Drinking or Tobacco Use <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed some jackets being stored on storage racks. Assign a location for personal belongings away <br />from food storage and food preparation. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: No employees shall eat, drink, or smoke in any work area. (113977) <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: Handwash sink and 2-comp prep sink also being used for handwash are blocked by boxes, plastic, and <br />a block of open (cooked) ham. Immediately remove and provide unfettered access to handwash sinks. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Multiple mice droppings on shelves and on floor of dry storage and under metal cabinet at counter <br />service line. Disinfect and remove droppings, and provide more pest control as required. This is a repeat violation. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chicken patties next to bottle of bleach and under soap dispenser of 2-comp prep sink which is being <br />used for hand wash according to management, a container of oil and vegetables under soap dispenser of handwash sink, <br />and a block of opened cooked ham sitting on the edge of the handwash sink. Immediately separate food from sources of <br />contamination, and provide at least 24 inches from hand wash sinks, or provide a splash guard made of cleanable and <br />non-absorbent approved material at least 6 inches tall. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be separated and protected from contamination.
