EMPLOYEE WRITTEN TRAINING PROGRAM <br /> Our employee training program has been developed on the basis of <br /> types of hazardous substances used and the common hazards <br /> associated with them, reading labels and MSDS, and procedures to <br /> follow for the safety of the employees . <br /> The goal of this training class is to : <br /> Overview the Hazardous Communication Regulation which includes: <br /> -Overview the Hazardous Substances in our Workplace . <br /> -Learn What to Look for When Reading Labels . <br /> -Reading Material Safety Data Sheets . <br /> -Recognizing Hazardous Materials. <br /> OVERVIEW OF THE <br /> HAZARD COMMUNICATION REGULATION <br /> The Hazard Communication Regulation is intended to ensure that <br /> both employers and employees are aware of the dangers associated <br /> with hazardous substances in their work places . The following <br /> information is a review of the specific requirements of hazard <br /> communication program, including container labeling , MSDS and <br /> training . <br /> HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES <br /> USED IN OUR WORK PLACE <br /> Let ' s review the HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE INVENTORY LIST in your work <br /> area. ( Attachment #1 ) . <br /> READING LABELS <br /> LABELS: A product label on the original container should be <br /> reviewed prior to working with the material . Each label will <br /> have two important pieces of information you should be familiar <br /> with : <br /> -The identity of the Hazardous Substance <br /> -Hazard Warning <br /> The secondary container must identify the product to enable the <br /> reader to know with ease what primary container to refer to for <br /> more information. <br /> The label on the original container will also state the name and <br /> address of the manufacturer . <br />
