ORM's - Other Regu ed Materials which do not me. - the definition of other <br />hazard classes or which are reclassified as ORM's; <br />ORM A - Materials with anesthetic, irritating, noxious or toxic properties <br />which can cause extreme annoyance or discomfort. <br />ORM B - Materials which are capable of corroding nonclad aluminum more than <br />.25 inch per year or which are named in *CFR 49, section 172.101. <br />ORM C - Materials which are not included in other classes but are hazardous <br />for other reasons and are.not specified in CFR 49, section 172.101. <br />ORM D - Materials whcih present limited hazards due to form, quantity or <br />packaging and are specified in CFR 49, section 172.101. <br />ORM E - Materials which are not included in other classes and are specified <br />in CFR 49, section 172.101. <br />Oxidizer - A material that yields oxygen to stimulate the combustion of organic <br />matter. <br />Poison A - A gas or liquid for which a very small amount mixed with air is <br />dangerous to life. <br />Poison B - A material for which the acute oral LD50 is less than 50 milligrams <br />per kilogram, the acute dermal LD50 is less than 200 lilligrams <br />per kilogram, or the acute inhalation LC50 is less than 2000 milligrams <br />per cubic meter. <br />Pyrophoric liquid - Any liquid that ignites spontaneously in dry or moist <br />air at or below 130° F. <br />Radioactive materials - Any materials with greater than 0.0002 microcuries <br />per gram. <br />Carcinogens <br />The following publications are referenced by hazard communication laws for <br />the identification -of carcinogens: <br />A.
