In your <br /> letter,you requested an exemption for Tire Derived Products processed from waste tires and/or waste tire <br /> equivalents at your facility located at 4554 S.EI Dorado Street, Stockton, CA.This material is then sold <br /> and transported offsite to another location as"Tire Derived Product"(TPD)or"Tire Derived Fuel" <br /> (TDF). By the description of this material,it appears that the criteria as set forth in Public Resources Code <br /> (PRC), §42950 0),which is described below,has been met. <br /> 30 PRC §429500)"Tire Derived Product" means material that meets both of the following <br /> requirements: <br /> 1. Is derived from a process using waste tires or waste tire equivalents as a feedstock. A <br /> process using waste tires or waste tire equivalents includes,but is not limited to,shredding, <br /> crumbing,or chipping. <br /> 2. Has been sold and removed from the processing facility. <br /> In your letter you mentioned the following materials as TDP,these materials are: <br /> • 2"TDP Aggregate <br /> • 2"TDF <br /> • 6"TDP Aggregate <br /> • 6"TDF <br /> The uses are for TDF and TDP aggregate in civil engineering projects. <br /> CalRecycle does not regulate this material as a waste tire equivalent pursuant to Title 14, California Code <br /> of Regulations(CCR)§18451(c),therefore,we do not require the transporter of this material to be a <br /> CalRecycle Registered Waste Tire Hauler nor comply with the California Uniform Waste and Used Tire <br /> Manifest System,as long as the following conditions are met: <br /> • The transporter shall have a copy of this exemption letter in their possession. <br /> • A"Bill of Lading"shall be completed. <br /> ORIGINAL PRIMED ON 100%POSTCONSUMER CONTENT PROCESS CHLORINE FREE PAPER <br />
