COMPLAINANT STATED THAT THEY FOUND A LARGE PIECE OF GLASS MIXED IN WITH THE ICE <br />AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTAINER. <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Upon investigation, this <br />bottle lacks any breakage. <br />The ice used for beverages comes from the ice machine and the bin used at the bar is refilled multiple times per day. <br />OBSERVATIONS: No broken glass was observed near glassware, near liquor bottles or near the ice bin. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: Use extreme caution when glass breakage occurs. If glassware (beverage bottles or drinkware) <br />breaks near this ice bin or near open food or drink sources, completely empty the ice bin of ice, clean and sanitize prior to <br />refilling. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
