Attached with this statement of how each violation
was corrected is the signed return to compliance certification, and a receipt from Asbury
Environmental Services for both waste oil and filters.
Violation 1: Code 25201(a) HSC Storage of Hazardous materials for more than 90
day's without a permit.
The product that had hazardous identification stickers on it were not dated properly. The
containers (55gal drums) are used for a transfer tank, not storage. Five gallons pails are
dumped into these drums and then sucked out into our storage tank. These drums have
been re-labeled with the correct dates as they are used. We do not and will not use these
drums for storage for more than a week at a time.
Violation 2: Code 66262.34 CCR Failed to properly label containers of hazardous
waste.
Training has been given to all employees that receive any hazardous waste. All
hazardous waste received must be logged on our Hazardous Waste Log.
Violation 3: Code66265.173(a) CCR Failed to keep containers of HW closed except
vvhen adding/removing HM
All HW drums and pails have lids secured to the top of the containers at all times.
Except when adding or removing HM.
Violation 4: Code66266.130© CCR Failed to: (2) Close container w/initial date of
accumulation, label "drained used oil filters"
We have a sufficient supply of HW stickers for both drained oil and filters. All
employees that receive any HW are trained in the steps to take when receiving waste oil.
Regards,
Aaron Bates
Operations Mgr
a&4 yo"peAa"a"
reoclal
pj,[
