All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The restroom lacks a paper towel dispenser. Install a wall mounted paper towel dispenser prior to <br />opening. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(17) <br />#23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed dried rodent droppings on a rear shelf and behind the walk-in cooler. Immediately clean up all <br />rodent droppings, clean and sanitize the area. Close off any and all entry points. A contract with a pest control company is <br />recommended. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies. ( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br />#33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br />OBSERVATIONS: The mop sink is on a wooden pedestal. Paint the wood with a semi -gloss paint to make the surface <br />smooth and cleanable. Correct prior to opening. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean. (114115 (c)) <br />#45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: The floor in front of the walk-in cooler main door is raw. Paint the wooden portion with a semi -gloss paint <br />to make the surface smooth and cleanable. Correct prior to opening. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
