Tracy Mazda Waste Anti-. ..,eze Tank and Waste Oil Assessment <br /> Written Assessment per CCR Title 22 <br /> The waste oil tank has integral secondary containment. The interstice was inspected and found to <br /> be dry. The tank is indoors therefore the 25 year rain event does not apply. The tank is equipped <br /> with overfill protection that is visible, audible and has positive shut off. The ancillary equipment is <br /> the waste oil transfer pump which is an air operated diaphragm pump; the piping is welded and <br /> inspected daily. On inspection, there were no signs leaking of the pipe or pumps. There were no <br /> signs of significant corrosion. <br /> The waste antifreeze tank is has an external tank liner tank. The volume of this liner is 176 <br /> gallons which is greater than the volume of the waste antifreeze tank's working volume of 110 <br /> gallons. The liner is inspected daily for leaks. The liner is in good condition and is free of cracks <br /> scrapes, tears or any other defect which would adversely affect its performance. <br /> U*VA <br /> Figure 24, Continuous Interstice Monitor Back Right <br /> Site Security <br /> The tank is located within a locked petroleum storage room at the dealership and <br /> the site has a security fence which is closed during non-business hours. <br /> Additionally the site is routinely patrolled by the Tracy Police Department. <br /> Secondary Containment findings: The secondary containment system is of <br /> sufficient capacity and condition for the containment of releases from all tanks <br /> and ancillary equipment.
