#19 All hazardous waste kept onsite will be picked up no longer than 90 days after initial accumulation. <br /> The accumulation start dates have been noted on all hazardous waste containers. <br /> #20 All containers and tanks of hazardous waste have been relabeled to contain generator name and <br /> address, words"hazardous waste", contents, composition, hazardous properties, physical state and <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> #21 All employees have been trained and instructed to keep all containers of hazardous waste closed <br /> except when adding or removing material. Specifically, the container of brake shavings has a <br /> removable lid. <br /> #27 Previously, all metal brake shavings were disposed of as"exempt recycled metal" in accordance to <br /> the state of California regulations, However,we now understand that San Joaquin County views this <br /> waste stream as potentially hazardous. Tracy Mazda will dispose of all metal brake shavings as <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> #33 All employees have been trained and instructed to keep all containers of hazardous waste (oil <br /> filters)closed except when adding or removing material. All 55-gallon drums of oil filters are marked <br /> with accumulation start dates. <br /> #45 The dealership now maintains a current copy of the hazardous materials business/contingency plan <br /> onsite at all times for employee review. <br /> #49 Tracy Mazda rehired the environmental and safety consulting company KPA to assist with all <br /> compliance issues or concerns. They provide hazardous waste handling and spill response training on an <br /> annual basis and file records in the yellow environmental binder located in the service manager's office. <br /> Training was completed on 9/10/09. <br /> #64 Management is currently collecting bids for hazardous waste tank assessment. We have been <br /> informed by KPA that this assessment could take an additional 60 days from today's date. A copy will be <br /> submitted to San Joaquin County once complete. <br /> #69 Daily tank inspections are now being completed and documented. <br /> #89 All empty drums have been cleaned and disposed of as recycled metal. <br />
