Oil was observed on <br /> the crack, on piping below the crack, and on the ground. During the inspection, absorbent was applied to the oil on <br /> the ground and the above crack and pipe were cleaned. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize <br /> the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten <br /> human health or the environment. Immediately fix the leak,and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement when the crack is repaired and how the waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by May 10, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
