Quarterly Report - 152 East l lth Street, Tracy Page 2 <br /> • INTRODUCTION <br /> This status report is for the property at 152 East Eleventh Street, Tracy, California It <br /> covers the period from February 1, 1996 to April 30, 1996 <br /> The subject property was purchased by the current owners, Mr and Mrs Albert Navarra <br /> and Mr and Mrs Carl Navarra (the Navarras) after gasoline was released into the sub- <br /> surface from underground storage tanks that are now known to be located off site but, <br /> when the subsurface contamination was discovered, were suspected to have been located <br /> on the property <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> The subject is situated at 152 East 1 lth Street, Tracy, California That location is shown <br /> on Figure 1 <br /> The locations of monitoring wells that have been installed on the site, at Ultramar Inc 's <br /> Beacon Station at 153 East 1 Ith Street and in surrounding areas are shown on Figure 2 <br /> SITE CODE <br />. The San Joaquin County Public Heath Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS) <br /> has assigned this site <br /> SITE CODE 9021 <br /> ACTIVITY DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD <br /> Remediation <br /> On February 12, 1996, preparatory to implementation of a remediation program an <br /> application was submitted to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> Central Valley Region (RWQCB) under the terms of that agency's Order No 92-150 for <br /> authorization to discharge treated groundwater from the subject property under National <br /> Polluted Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No CA0082929 The RWQCB <br /> approved the application and authorized the discharge under General Order No 92-15025 <br /> on March 7, 1996 <br /> On February 13, 1996, following completion of the requisite period set aside for public <br /> participation that closed on January 19th 1996, work was initiated to implement the <br /> CQrrective Action Plan (Amended) - 152 East 1 lth Street. Tracy, California_ (the CAP) <br /> that had been approved by the SJCPHS on December 20th 1995 <br /> On February 13, 1996, shortly after remedial excavation had begun, a 550-gallon, <br /> underground, waste-oil tank was encountered The presence this tank in the subsurface <br />
