A site visit <br /> by the EHD staff was made from the edge of road. There were a number cows confined in a <br /> corral. The owner was contacted and he stated there were 20 cows onsite. Confined animal <br /> operations are required to remove the manure every 7 days. This is a violation of the Title 14 <br /> California Code of Regulation (CCR): <br /> • T14CCR, Section 17810.5 - Excessive Odors, Dust and Feather. <br /> • T14CCR, Section 178820 - Agricultural Solid Wastes As a Public Health/Well-Being <br /> Hazard <br /> Effective immediately remove all manure from this location to an approved disposal facility, <br /> approved compost facility or remove the manure to an agricultural farming operation and disk <br /> into the soil on the same day as deposited by April 5, 2019. All animal manure shall be <br /> removed at least once every seven days utilizing one or more of the above mentioned <br /> methods.
