THE MUNG BEAN SPROUTS WERE ALREADY TOUCHED BY <br />THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS BARE HANDS. COMPLAINANT ALSO CLAIMS THEY WITNESSED WINDEX BEING <br />SPRAYED ONTO A TABLE WHILE NON-DISPOSABLE UTENSILS WERE ON THE TABLE AND GETTING OVER SPRAY <br />ON THE UTENSILS. <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />I spoke to employee (cashier) who said that he was not aware of compliant prior to my visit. <br />I asked if foods are "reused and served to next customer" <br />Per cashier foods are not reused or re-served. <br />He said foods are thrown away and he pointed to the garbage can. <br />I observed tables. Tables have containers that hold utensils and chopsticks. Tables also have containers of peppers. hot <br />sauce, sugar, and soy sauce. <br />Employee sprayed table with Windex and wiped down with dry towel. <br />I let employee know that spraying table while utensils are on table may contaminate utensils. Clean table in a manner that <br />does not pose possible contamination to utensils and food products. Begin today. <br />I observed employee wipe down table after a customer left. Tray of spices and container of utensils were set aside and table <br />was wiped down. Employee also sprayed towel and then wiped down table. <br />I also observed employee dispose of all foods left on table from customers that were seated at that table. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
