These
activities were conducted in accordance with monitoring and reporting program (MRP) No. R5-
2016-0822 issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region
(RWQCB) on June 15, 2016. The new MRP replaced previous MRP No. R5-2002-0087.
The new MRP modified the groundwater sampling schedule from quarterly to semi-annually and
annually with sampling to occur in the first and third quarters. Water level and free product
measurement continues on a quarterly basis.
SITE ACTIVITIES
In accordance with the schedule set forth in the MRP, activities at the site included monitoring
water level elevations in all site wells, monitoring for the presence of free product and sampling
groundwater from selected site wells on a semi-annual basis and all site wells on a annual basis
(during the first and third quarters of the year). The soil vapor extraction (SVE) system was not
in operation during the reporting period because the system was shut down prior with RWQCB
approval, due to low hydrocarbon mass removal rates following rebound testing. A site vicinity map
has been included as Figure 1. The location of the site monitoring wells, the vapor extraction
wells, the SVE system compound and subsurface piping are shown on the site plan included as
Figure 2.
