The following items are required to be inspected at least daily: <br /> 1. overfilVspill control equipment, <br /> 2. aboveground portions of the tank system to detect corrosion or releases of water; <br /> 3. data gathered from monitoring and leak-detection equipment, <br /> 4. outside areas of the tank system including secondary containment to detect erosion or signs of releases of <br /> hazardous waste; <br /> 5. for uncovered tanks, the level of waste in the tank. <br /> Immediately begin required inspections of the hazardous waste tank system, and document the items inspected. <br /> Submit a copy of the inspection log for the next 30 days to the EHD. This is a Class II violation. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> There are two black 55 gallon drums and one blue 55 gallon drum of hazardous waste oily solids in the shop. The <br /> black drums did not have marked the hazardous waste property and the accumulation start date. The blue drum did <br /> not have marked an accumulation start date. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br /> information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> it cannot be determined how long the drums of hazardous waste oily solids have been on site, immediately contact a <br /> licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the <br /> EHD. This is a Class II repeat violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 4-9-15. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
