Emergency Response Plan <br /> Underground Storage Tank Monitoring Program <br /> This monitoring program must be kept at the UST location at all times. The information on this <br /> monitoring program is a condition of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services within 30 days of any changes to the monitoring procedures,unless <br /> required to obtain approval before making changes. Required by Sections 2632(d) and 2641(h)CCR. <br /> Facility Name: Tesoro#67080 <br /> Facility Address: 2448 W.Kettleman Ln, Lodi, California <br /> 1. If an unauthorized release occurs,how will the hazardous substance be cleaned up? Note:If released <br /> hazardous substances reach the environment, increase the fire or explosion hazard, are not cleaned <br /> up from the secondary containment within 8 hours, or deteriorate the secondary containment, the <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services must be notified at (209) 468-3420 within 24 hours. <br /> Employees have been instructed to immediately stop the release (i.e. turn off the power) and use <br /> absorbent to contain the release and prevent it's spread to critical areas such as storm drains and <br /> adjacent property. If the release is within the station employees' ability to clean up, materials are <br /> available, or else a clean up contractor will be called to assist. <br /> 2. Describe the proposed methods and equipment to be used for removing and properly disposing of any <br /> hazardous substances. Stations are equipped with absorbent material and metal drums. When a <br /> release occurs, the absorbent is used to clean up the material, and is stored in the drum. On a regular <br /> basis,the absorbent is picked up by a vacuum truck and taken to a disposal facility. <br /> 3. Describe the location and availability of the required cleanup equipment in item 2 above. The <br /> cleanup materials are kept in the cashier area in a "Ready Bucket" to provide quick access to the <br /> employees in a time of emergency. <br /> 4. Describe the maintenance schedule for the cleanup equipment. The station manager is responsible <br /> for ordering an adequate supply of cleanup materials <br /> 5. List the names and titles of the persons responsible for authorizing any work necessary under the <br /> plan.
