Clean sump of ail loose debris and other material: • Separate 'initial wash water' from "test water'' in labled and separate 55 gal. drums �- Inspect all penetrations into sump for damage too or zn.issing test boots • electrical, product. vapor(make note by sump No.) 3. Repair and reseal penetrations from inside sump as may be required, • Clean ail penetrations removing scale and surface irregularities • Bostic sealant is best for sealing around penetrations • Disconnect piping and or remove dispenser if required to slip replacemen: boots into place over primary;product iine and over secondary containment piping; • Insmil split test boots as needed • Install spacers in test boots as required. 4. Mate secondary comainment pipe to mfg. recommended test pressure (3-5 psi). 5. Allow pressure to stabilize for a few minutes and verify correct test pressure. 6. Record date, start time and test pressure on sump wall or cover for each test point 7. Soap test all test boots inspecting for bubbies/leaks. S. .Record any change in pressure after one hour, test passes of pressure does no: drop below 3-psi in I hour.
