EARTHQUAKE <br /> OBJECTIVES <br /> • Assess the condition of the facility <br /> • Assess the situation of the surrounding area to determine if it is safe to remain in the facility or <br /> order an evacuation <br /> • Report to the Office of Emergency Services <br /> • <br /> FACILITY THREAT COORDINATOR <br /> 1. Move to the Internal Command Post with Alerting Aide. <br /> 2. Post Alerting Aide to the Internal Command Post to receive reports. <br /> 3. Direct Alternate Area Wardens to prevent entry to the facility until Area Warden's <br /> assessment is complete. <br /> 4. Report condition of facility and personnel to OES at tog-953-6200. <br /> AREA WARDENS <br /> 1. Conduct assessment on each area of the building to determine injuries, accountability, and <br /> damage to facility. <br /> 2. Contact FTC and report assessment results. <br /> 3. Wait for instructions from FTC. <br /> ALERTING AIDES <br /> 1. Move to the Internal Command Post with FTC <br /> 2. Receive reports and keep communication with FTC <br /> LAB MANAGEMENT <br /> Immediately assess and notify first responders/Facility Threat Coordinator of the status of hazardous <br /> materials: <br /> • Carbon dioxide canisters in the Hazelton Lab <br /> • Carbon dioxide canisters and propylene glycol steel drum in BSL-3 <br /> • Diesel tank in the generator cage (west parking lot). <br /> 20 SJCPHS Emergency Plan—January 2019 <br />
