COMMUNICATION : PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES <br /> FTC will : <br /> 1. Maintain contact with public safety agencies and Area Wardens regarding the nature of the threat and <br /> conditions. <br /> 2. Gather employee head-count information from Area Wardens. <br /> Lab Management will <br /> 1. Relay any serious laboratory information/needs/requirements. <br /> Area Wardens will : <br /> 1. Coordinate information between FTC and facility areas. <br /> 2. If unable to contact FTC, contact public safety agencies using the 9-9-1-1 system. <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> Before facility operations are resumed in areas of the facility affected by the incident, the FTC/Department <br /> Emergency Coordinator/Laboratory Management will work with <br /> 4. California Department of Toxic Substance Control 916-255-3545 <br /> S. San Joaquin County Environmental Health 209-468-3420 <br /> 6, Local Fire Departmenfs Hazardous Materials program 209-937-8271 <br /> to ensure that the facility is in compliance with requirements to <br /> 3. Provide for proper storage and disposal of recovered waste, contaminated soil or surface water, or any <br /> other material that results from an explosion, fire, or release at the facility <br /> 4. Ensure that no material is incompatible with the release material is transferred, stored, or disposed of in <br /> areas of the facility affected by the incident until cleanup procedures are completed. <br /> The All-Clear will be given by the above public agencies to the FTC. The FTC will notify Area Wardens who will <br /> make contact with employees by telephone or in person . <br />
