No. 03374-004-001 <br /> SUBJECT: Schedule for Delivery of Third Quarter 1992 Quarterly Monitoring Report <br /> and Groundwater Remediation Program Advisory, Triple E Produce, <br /> Tracy, California 2!d U r j,) . <br /> Dear Ms. Lowry, U <br /> This letter is to confirm our telephone conversation of October 8, 1992 during which we <br /> discussed a delivery schedule revision for the two documents referenced above. <br /> As you know, WESTON installed a new monitoring well on Triple E's behalf north of the <br /> Triple E site in August 1992. The third quarter 1992 groundwater monitoring which included <br /> this new well (MW-7) was accomplished October 7 and 8, 1992 and we expect to receive the <br /> analytical results by October 30, 1992. Based on these schedule constraints, we expect to be <br /> able to deliver the quarterly monitoring report to you by November 6, 1992. <br /> The delay in the third quarter monitoring schedule has unfortunately impacted the development <br /> of the remediation advisory which was originally due to the Water Board by October 2, 1992. <br /> The third quarter monitoring results for all of the wells, and especially MW-7, are crucial to the <br /> development of the remedial plan and WESTON believes it would be counter productive to <br /> develop the remediation scenario without all of the current data. Therefore, Triple E <br /> respectfully requests that the delivery date of the Groundwater Remediation Program Advisory <br /> also be set back to accommodate the inclusion of the third quarter data. Provided there are no <br /> unforeseen problems with the analyses, WESTON expects to deliver the Remediation Program <br /> Advisory to you by November 6, 1992. <br /> Triple E regrets these delays and appreciates your approval of this revised delivery schedule for <br /> the two documents. <br /> nXC\RMSLL.0V.RY-1.WP <br />
