INTRODUCTION
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE),has prepared,this quarterly report for,348 West Harding
Way, Stockton;.California. The.objectives of,the,work were to monitor dissolved petroleum ;
r hydrocarbon concentrations in ground,water and to characterize ground water flow direction and
gradient.,The site setting is'illustrated'on Figure 1, site structures.and'monitoring Well.lo cations are
r. depicted on-Figure,2. '
This,report has'been prepared in accordance'With guidelines established by'the California Regional
Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Division(CRWQCB)for investigation of underground
story e tank UST sites. A summary of previous investigations at the site was included in the AGE
prepared
(UST) n 'Y
prepared Additional Site Assessment and Ground Water•:Extraction'Workplan, dated 29 December.
2000. Analytical data for ground water samples acquired to date is included in this report.-.
1
2.0. , PROCEDURES
On 12 June 2002, ground water monitoring and sampling were performed at the site on monitoring
' wells-MW-1 through MW-10. ,Ground water monitoring procedures for the site were outlined in
Work Plan Addendum For Additional Ground Water Investigation, dated 15.November 1995,,
prepared by AGE and approved by the SanJoaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)
' by permit dated 07 December 1995,and conform to ground water monitoring guidelines issued by
the EHD. '.
'. 2.L' WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
'
• ,.ASolinst•Water-level meter was used to measure'the de th to ound vvater-in each well relative:to'
r P r - ..r .-.
the top'of the well casing. The ground water elevations and hydraulic gradient at the site-were
calculated from'this data (Table 1).
After ground water depths were measured, a-pre-cleaned; two-stage submersible pump or.new
disposable, dedicated bail&r were used to evacuate water in wells MW-1.'through_MW,10. During
the June sampling event, approximately 7 to'14 gallons of water•(a minimum of three casing-water
volumes) were removed from each well, Temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at 1.5 to
3-gallon intervals using,an Oakton water analyzer._,Purged water was stored in, 55-2allon DOT
approved-drums on-kte. :Monitoring well stabilization data and field data sheets'are included in
•, Appendix A;' ;
Advanced GeaEnvironzneRta4 Inc.
