Kloberdanz & Associates to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) proposing the <br /> advancement of two soil borings. <br /> 11/04/96 Date when soil borings, B-1 and B-2, were advanced to approximately 45 feet <br /> below surface grade (bsg) and soil and grab groundwater samples were <br /> collected. Low concentrations of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total <br /> xylenes (BTEX); total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g); and methyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) were detected in soil and groundwater samples. <br /> 09/22/98 Date when two 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs) utilized for <br /> gasoline, a dispenser island, and associated piping were removed from the site <br /> under permit issued by the EHD. <br /> 10/13/98 Date of Interim Soil Remediation Work Plan submitted by Advanced <br /> GeoEnviron mental, Inc. (AGE) that documents the analytical results for soil <br /> samples collected during the removal of two USTs and associated piping and <br /> dispenser island, and proposes the excavation and disposal of approximately <br /> 300 tons (approximately 200 cubic yards) of impacted soil while collecting soil <br /> samples for analysis. <br /> 11/10/98 Date when excavation was begun in the former UST area and approximately 316 <br /> tons of hydrocarbon-impacted soil were removed and transported under manifest <br /> for proper disposal. <br /> 12/07/98 Date of letter from the EHD informing the responsible party of his/her <br /> responsibility to perform corrective action, and the placement of the site into the <br /> Local Oversight Program (LOP). <br /> 07/15/99 Date of Interim Soil Remediation Report submitted by AGE that documents the <br /> analytical results of soil samples collected during the excavation of approximately <br /> 316 tons of hydrocarbon-impacted soil in the former UST area. <br /> 11/13/00 Date of Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan submitted by AGE that proposes <br /> the advancement of six soil borings for the installation of five groundwater <br /> monitoring wells and one extraction well. <br /> 12/15/00 Date of Site Assessment Work Plan submitted by AGE that proposes the <br /> advancement of five soil probe borings for the collection of soil and grab <br /> groundwater samples to determine if and where monitoring wells should be <br /> installed. <br />
