(AGE) has prepared this
report for the destruction of three (3) ground water monitoring wells at 244 West Harding
Way, Stockton, California (site). The site location is depicted on Figure 1; site structures
and former well locations are depicted on Figure 2.
INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
Ground water monitoring wells had been installed as part of a subsurface investigation of
the former underground storage tank (UST) area at the site. Two-inch diameter ground
water monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-3 were installed to depths of 45 feet below
surface grade (bsg).
Monitoring wells were destroyed as outlined in the AGE-prepared, Well Destruction Work
Plan, dated 20 October 2011. All three wells were destroyed under San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department boring permit, which has been included in Appendix A.
PROCEDURES
Well destruction activities were performed on 12 January 2012 by All Well Abandonment
of Sacramento,California. Ground water monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-3 were destroyed
by pressure grouting the well columns with Portland Type II cement (six gallons water for
every 94-pound sack of portland cement )and over-drilling the upper three feet of the well
using hollow stem augers. Ground water monitoring well MW-1 was removed by over-
drilling the well to total depth (45 feet bsg) with 8-inch (2-inch diameter monitoring well)
X S1t.€tt Rot.d • 5€ircktoaIt.
