' Mr.Mike Ali;Advanced GeoEnvironmental,.Inc.(AGE)has prepared the enclosed . quarterly report for the.propertylocated at 244 West Harding Way,Stockton,California, The scope of work included ground water monitoring and sampling,laboratory sample analysis,and preparation -'of this report. Site-background information'is included in Appendix A.The site-and surrounding`area^ f y ' are illustrated on Figure L.',On-site.structures, soil borings, and•monitoring well locations are, illustrated on Figure 2. 2.4. -PROCEDURES Field procedures were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water•Quality Control' Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites and- San Joaquin County Enviromnental Health Department(EHD)guidelines for the sampling of ground water monitoring wells. ,, • '2.1. WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION On 04 August 2004; the depth to ground water in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-3 was ' ! measured from the top of each well casing to the nearest 0.01-foot utilizing•a,Solinst water level- meter. Ground water elevation in each well was calculated-by subtracting the measured depth to groundwater from the surveyedcasing elevation (Table 1). After water levels were measured, approximately',9"gallons of water (a minimuin'of three casing . water volumes per well) were purged from the wells using dedicated,'disposabieplastic bailer's: Groundwater temperature, p p H;and conductivity were lmeasured at:regular intervals during purging ' • , p using an Oakton•water analyzer.-Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B.Purgedwatef was . . ' stored on-site in properly.labeled,Department of Transportation(DOT)-approved 5.5-gallon drums • - endin ro er dis'osal. - p gp p p 2:2: COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES Groundwater samples were' 'collected from the monitoring wells using disposable.plastic bailers; these bailers were disposed,of after one use, thereby minimizing cross-contamination due to _sampling devices. Each ground water sample was-collected into three 40-milliliter (ml)volatile- organic analysis (VOA) vials containing 0.5 ml 18% hydrochloric acid solution as a sample preservative: -After collection,.the samples were labeled and placed` in a chilled container. for 1 ' .Advanced GeoEn l n 'ental,-Inc.
