INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Mike-Ali the property,owner,Advanced GeoEnvir6mnental; Inc. (AGE)has <br /> prepared•the enclosed Site Assessment Report for the propertylocated at 244-West Harding•Way, <br /> ' Stockton, California. The scope'of work included'advancement of three soil Boring, installation of ; <br /> three monitoring wells;ground water monitoring and sampling, laboratory sample analysis aridthe <br /> preparation of this report., The location'of the site is illustrated.on,Figure I unci a plan of the site is ; <br /> 1 illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> ' This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established•by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control .Board (CVRWQCB): for the subsurface .investigation,°;of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites. Soil'boring and monitoring well installation and'sampling <br /> procedures for the site were outlined in Monitoring Welllnstadl hpn Work Plan;dated 06 February <br /> 2003 .,prepared by AGE and a roved by the EHD.by letter. <br /> ' . 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> ' • A gasoline station and mini-mart,presently occupy the site. Two USTs were removed from the site <br /> in September 1998 by Stockton Service Station Equipment(SSSE).Anew UST system was installed. <br /> at-the site in December 1998. <br /> 2.1. SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is bounded on the north,by Harding Way. Residential property lies south and west,of the'.,. <br /> site;commercial property lies,east of the site.A single structure occupies the southern portion of the- <br /> site'. <br /> 2.2: PREVIOUS INVESTIGATIONS <br /> It is AGE understanding that an environinental site assessment iwa`s performed on the property in the . <br /> early 1996. Field observations indicated that hydrocarbons may"haveimpacted the soil. One soil Y=` <br /> sample collected from forty feet below surface grade(bsg),had detectible concentration ofpetroleum. <br /> hydrocarbons. Two ground water samples had low concentrations of volatile aromatic compounds. <br /> ' One of the ground water samples collected and analyzed contained total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> gasoline at a concentration of 0.28 milligram per liter(mg/1).Methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE)was <br /> detected at 3.7 microgram per liter(pg/1).
