Harding Avenue,
Stockton, California.
The three ground water monitoring wells will be changed to three inch (3")
wells instead of four inch (4") wells, in order to stay within the budget and to install
these wells in a timely manner. The drilling company, Osterberg & Stewart, were
originally contacted to perform the drilling, but are being delayed on a current project
and will not be available for another month. Pierson Drilling, which is located in
Modesto, does not have the equipment to drill four inch (4") wells, but have the
equipment to install three inch Q') wells and will be used on this site for drilling the
three monitoring wells. They will be installed using a mobile mounted drilling rig
employing the use of a hollow stem flight auger no less than 4-1/4 inch i.d. and 8-7/8 ef
The well which is to be installed in the sidewalk on the northwest corner will be 6
moved onto the property. This is due to the overhead lines in that area. A site map with
the proposed well locations is enclosed.
