The assessors parcel numbers are 131-07-051 through 137-07-053. This <br /> investigation deals only with the 140 W. Harding address. The subject parcel is located <br /> .; <br /> at the corners of Madison Avenue and Harding Avenue and is 100 feet by 100 feet in <br /> size. The area is a commercial/residential mix with residential on the south side of the <br /> property. <br /> 2.0 SITE HISTORY <br /> The subject property was originally developed in 1932 as a Shell Gasoline Station and <br /> remained a Shell Station until 19b1. From 1961 through 1972 it was an Enco Service <br /> E SWion and in 1973, it was an Exxon Station. Fa'om 1974 to 1977, the site was vacant. <br /> From 1.97$ through January, 1991, it was a sandwich shop called ilio Yellow <br /> Submarine. <br /> ' In February, 1974, under- <br /> Stockton Fire Department records indicates that four (4) under- <br /> e, tanks consisted of one {1} 4,000 gallon fuel tank, <br /> ground tanks were removed. Th <br /> two (2) 3,000 gallon fuel tanks and one (1) 550 gallon waste oil tank. During the <br /> ' course of VMF's Environmental Audit of the property, it was discovered that the waste <br /> oil tank had not been removed.
