PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> Fact Sheet <br /> Pending Case Closure for Leaking Underground Storage Tank Site <br /> Name of the consulting firm, on behalf of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD), invites public comment regarding SJCEHD's consideration to grant regulatory closure for the <br /> leaking underground storage tank (LUST) case at the subject site (Site) identified below: <br /> SUBJECT SITE: <br /> Site Name: GeoTracker Global ID No. <br /> Site Address: SJCEHD Site Code: <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: 60 Days — 60 day time frame commences on anticipated mailing <br /> date of the SJCEHD-approved Public Notice <br /> CASE SUMMARY: <br /> The SJCEHD and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), in cooperation <br /> with current property owner(property owner), responsible party for remediation may be same as owner, <br /> (responsible party) and consulting firm (environmental consultant) have evaluated soil and groundwater <br /> conditions, and health concerns at the subject Site resulting from unauthorized release of (gasoline, <br /> diesel, etc.) from an underground storage tank (UST) system. The UST system, consisting of# of tanks <br /> and capacity(gallon) and any associated piping, was removed from the Site in date month/year. <br /> Soil and groundwater investigations were conducted from month/year to month/year, to characterize <br /> impacted soil and/or groundwater. Consultinq firm determined that the petroleum hydrocarbons occurred <br /> in the soil and groundwater. Note if contaminants where contained on-site (within the site) or extended <br /> off-site (how far). Type of remediation and month/year was conducted to remediate the soil and <br /> groundwater at this site. The potential for indoor vapor intrusion into current and future Site buildings <br /> was evaluated by consultant, and found to be negligible. On the basis of groundwater monitoring and the <br /> site investigations, the SJCEHD has concluded that the Site status is protective of the environment and . <br /> of human health for current and future Site use and for adjacent off-site areas. <br /> The SJCEHD will submit Case Closure Summary to the California Region Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CRWQCB). Once SJCEHD receives closure recommendation from CRWQCB and has addressed all <br /> public comments received, the SJCEHD intends to issue a No Further Action Required letter for the <br /> subject Site. <br /> WHERE TO GET MORE INFORMATION <br /> Site information can be obtained from the GeoTracker website at http://geotracker.waterboards.ca,gov/. <br /> Upon written request, the Site case file is available for review at the SJCEHD office located at 1868 East <br /> Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205.
