I have reviewed the Request for Low-Threat Case Closure for
the two sites and did some additional analysis of the site data and have concluded that the two sites are
candidates for case closure. Irdiscussed the two sites with Jim Barton of the Central Valley Regional Water
Quality Control Board, who upon reviewing the same report and discussing it with me agreed that the sites should
be considered for closure. Our new staff person, Angelia Marin, who is now the caseworker for this site, will
prepare the cases closure summary documents to submit to the CVRWQCB to notify them of our intention to
close the two sites.
Angelica will also prepare a letter to you informing you of our intention to close the site and directing you to
prepare documents to notify various entities and adjacent property owners of the pending closure decision and
provide a 60-day comment and participation period; also you must submit a record fee title owners certification
that states you have notified all such owners of the impending case closure decision.
Angelica can be reached at amarin(a-sjcehd.com or at.(209)468-280.7 and i can be reached at
nhenderson(c-D-sjcehd.com or at(209)468-3436; please contact either of us for more information.
Nuel Henderson
From: Lisa Medina [EH]
Sent: Monday, November 25, 2013 2:112 PM
To: Nuel Henderson [EH]
Subject: FW: 420 &423 Madison Sites, Stockton, CA
Hi Nuel,
Did you have a chance to speak to Jim regarding this?
