cbCurtis &Tompkins Ltd <br /> Laboratory Number 173089 Order Date 06/28/04 <br /> Client Treadwell & Rollo <br /> Project Name SDHR-Stockton <br /> CASE NARRATIVE <br /> This hardcopy data package contains sample results and batch QC results for seven <br /> ' soil samples received from the above referenced project The samples were received <br /> cold and intact <br /> Total Volatile Hydrocarbons (TVH)IBTXE The bromofluorobenzene surrogate <br /> recoveries for samples CPT-PI-B4 (173089-001), CPT-PI-A4 (173089-003), CPT-PI- <br /> A10 (173089-004), and the TVH bromofluorobenzene surrogate recovery for sample <br /> CPT-Pi-A7 (173089-005) were above acceptance limits due to coelution of the <br /> surrogate peak with hydrocarbon peaks The associated trifluorotoluene surrogate <br /> ' recoveries were acceptable, therefore, there is no affect on the quality of the sample <br /> results <br /> The bracketing continuing calibration standards (CCSs) were above acceptance limits <br /> for MTBE for batch number 92292 The QC samples were all within acceptance limits <br /> for MTBE, and the compound was not detected in the associated samples No other <br /> analytical problems were encountered <br /> Total Extractable Hydrocarbons- The matrix spikes were not meaningful and <br /> were not analyzed The concentration of analyte in the spiked sample rendered the <br /> spike amount insignificant The associated laboratory control sample (LCS) recovery <br /> was acceptable No other analytical problems were encountered <br /> 1 <br />
