DTSC has concurred that the SJCEHD can exercise oversight of the site provided that <br /> the RAOs are meet. <br /> The limits of the excavation as of 12 April 2004 are shown on Figures 2 and 3. Confirmation <br /> soil sample locations are shown on Figure 3. Table 2 presents the results of the soil confirmation <br /> analyses with confirmation soil samples that have been removed through additional excavation <br /> shown with a strike through the name. The maximum depth of continued excavation will not <br /> exceed 15 feet below ground surface, to stay above the groundwater surface maintain sidewall <br /> stability. <br /> We believe that we will reach the extents of contamination above the RAOs by the end of this <br /> week and we will begin to backfill the excavation in accordance with the backfill specifications <br /> of the project. A parking area and access roadway are planned to be constructed at the ground <br /> surface.
