If cost pre-approval can be obtained from the UST clean-up fund, highly-impacted <br /> soil in the vicinity of former UST No. 8 will be excavated. Excavation should be <br /> performed prior to installation of monitoring wells. <br /> 3. In regards to the property in the area of former Underground Storage Tank No. I at <br /> the former Chase Chevrolet Facility located at 423 N. Madison Street, it was agreed <br /> that: <br /> a. Mass balance calculations shall be performed to examine the future impact of <br /> contaminated soil to ground water. The necessity and feasibility of over-excavation <br /> will be determined following mass balance calculations. <br /> 4. In regards to the property in the area of farmer Underground Storage Tank No. 2 at <br /> the former Chase Chevrolet Facility located at 423 N. Madison Street, it was agreed <br /> that: <br /> a. No remediation is necessary. <br /> 5. In regards to the property in the area of former Chase Chevrolet Facility located at <br /> 424 N. Given the fact that the Remedial Action Work Plan has been approved, an <br /> Invitation for Bid shall be prepared. <br /> C.
