' 23 July 1998
-AGE-NC Project No 95-0144
' 4 0. SUMMARY/CONCLUSIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE concludes
' • Ground water elevation increased an average of 1 5 feet at the site during the previous
quarter Ground water was between five and eight feet above the screened interval in five
' wells and approxunately three feet above the screened interval in three wells during the May r
1998 monitoring event -
' • Low concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in the four wells sampled
Concentrations of detected analytes remained consistent with results from previous samplings
events
• Additional monitoring wells were installed near the former location of UST No 8 in June—)
1998 Details of the well installations will be included in the August 1998 Quarterly Report
. 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
1 `
Based upon data obtained during the May 1998 and previous sampling events,AGE recommends
' the following
• The next quarterly monitoring event should be scheduled for August 1998, concurrent with
' monitoring at the Van Buren site In accordance with the revised monitoring schedule,
monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4,MW-13 and the new monitoring wells installed in
June 1998 will be sampled at that time The depth to ground water will be measured in all
monitoring wells for gradient and flow direction determination
' 6.0. LIMITATIONS
' Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the hydrogeologic
' conditions at the site have been made from a limited number of available data points (i a ground
water monitoring wells), and subsurface conditions may vary through time and with distance from
these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
' recommendations contained in this report
tAdvanced GcoEaviron mental,Inc
