INTRODUCTION <br /> 1 r <br /> ' At the rcquest of Mr Jeffery B Setness of Jeffrey B Setness Professional Law Corp , Advanced <br /> GeoEnvronmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report summarizing field activities <br /> performed dunng the second quarter of 2001 at 423 North Madison Street,Stockton,California The <br /> scope of work performed on the site for the quarter included development of two ground water <br /> extraction wells, sampling of stockpiled soil generated during over-excavation of the former UST <br /> No 1 pit, monitoring'concentrations of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons in ground water on the <br /> ' site, completion of an 8-hour aquifer pumping test, disposal of,soil excavated from the former UST <br /> No I location, disposal of purge water generated during grorind water monitoring activities and <br /> during an 8-hour aquifer pumping test and preparation of this report The site setting,is illustrated <br /> ' in Figure 1 Structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> t r <br /> c <br /> Site background information was summarized In Revised Corrective Action Plan - February 1997, <br /> Site.Investigation Report- UST No 8, dated 10 February 1998 and Quarterly Report-August 1998, <br /> prepared by AGE - <br /> z ' 4 <br /> 1 <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> ' Ground water extraction wells EW-1 and EW-2 were developed on 13 April 2001 On <br /> 23 April 2001, samples were collected from the soil stockpiles generated during over-excavation of <br /> ' the former UST No l and were submitted for laboratory analysis On 21 May 2041 ground water <br /> monitoring and sampling were performed at the site on wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-4,'MW-5,'MW-8, <br /> MW-11, MW-12, MW-13, MW-18, MW--19A MW-19B, MW-20A, MW-20B, MW-21A and <br /> ' MW-21B in accordance with the revised monitoring schedule established at a 03 April 1998 meeting <br /> with the San,Joaqum County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) <br /> An 8-hour aquifer pumping test was conducted at the site on 24 May 2001, a report detailing the , <br /> procedures and results of this test is in preparation On 01 June�2001, soil generated during the <br /> over-excavation ofthe former UST No 1 pit was disposed and the excavation backfilled Purge water <br /> generated during groundwater monitoring activities and during the 8-hour aquifer pumping test was <br /> ' removed from the site on 04 June 2001 and 13 June 2001, respectively ; <br /> Field activities were performed in accordance with guidelines established by the Regional Water <br /> IQuality Control Board- Central Valley Region (RWQCB) and by the PHS-EHD for investigation <br /> -of underground storage tank (UST) sites and sampling of ground water monitoring wells <br /> 3 <br /> Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc <br /> , <br />
