INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Jeffrey B S etness,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this <br /> quarterly report summarizing field activities performed during the fourth quarter of 2000 at 423 <br /> North Madison Street, Stockton,California The scope of work performed on the site for the quarter <br /> ' included abandonment of two in-situ air sparging wells, advancement of four soil probe borings, <br /> monitonng concentrations of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons in ground water on the site and <br /> preparation of this report The site setting is illustrated in Figure I Structures and monitoring well <br /> locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> Site background information was summarized in Revised Corrective Action Plan -February 1997, <br /> dated 27 February 1997, Site Investigation Report -- 'UST No 8, dated 10 February 1998 and <br /> Quarterly Report -August 1998, dated 08 December 1998, prepared by AGE <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> lei On 24 October 2000, two in-situ air sparging wells were abandoned by overdnlling to total depth <br /> and backfilling with portland cement The well abandonment procedures were conducted as outlined <br /> ' in the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD)- <br /> approved Remedial Action/Feasibilty Pilot Tests Work Plan, dated 10 February 2000, prepared by <br /> AGE <br /> ' On 15 November 2000, four soil probe borings (1513-10 througli 15B-13) were advanced at the site <br /> to further assess the extent of contaminants The field work was conducted as outlined in the PHS- <br /> f <br /> ' EHD-approved Site Investigation Work Plan - October 2000 dated 09 October 2000 <br /> On 28 November 2000, ground water monitoring and sampling was performed at the site on wells <br /> ' MW 1,MW-2,MW-4,MW-13,MW-19A MW-19B,MW-20A,MW-20B,MW-21A and MW-21B <br /> in accordance with the revised monitoring schedule established at a 03 Apnl 1998 meeting with the <br /> PHS-EHD <br /> ' Field activities were performed in accordance with guidelines for investigation of underground <br /> storage tank(UST) sites established by the Regional Water Quality Control Board- Central Valley <br /> Region(RWQCB-CVR) and by the PHS-EHD for sampling ground water monitoring wells <br /> 4 <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br /> � r <br />
