' 04 April 2001
AGE-NC Project No 95-0144
' 3 5 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF WATER SAMPLES
During the November 2000 monitoring event,TPH-g was detected m samples from monitoring wells
MW-21A, MW-21B and MW-4 at concentrations of 2,700 gg/l, 730 and 57 µg/1, respectively
BTEX compounds were detected in samples from wells MW-1, MW-4, MW-21A and MW-21B at
concentrations as high as 230 gg/1(benzene, MW-21A) TPH-d was detected in each sampled well,
with the exception of MW-1, at concentrations ranging from 3,200 gg/1 in MW-21A to 51 gg/l in
MW-13 TPH-mo was detected in monitoring well sample MW-21A at a concentration of 630 gg/I
Hydrocarbon concentrations in the remaining wells generally remained low or non-detect
MTBE was detected in ground water samples from well MW-13,MW-19A, MW19B and MW-21 B
at concentrations ranging from 1 1 gg/l in MW-13 to 1 6 gg/l in MW-19A and MW-19B (EPA
Method 8260M) Other oxygenates were not detected in the samples collected at the site during the
1 November 2000 monitoring event Historically, only low concentrations of MTBE and TBA have
been detected intermittently at the site Analytical results for November 2000 are summarized on
Table 6 Analytical results of recent and historical ground water samples are summarized on Tables
' 6 and 7 The laboratory report (MAI Laboratory I D Nos 54602 - 54611) and chain-of-custody
for ns are included in Appendix E
4.0.
